Now Hiring Full-time and Part-time Jail Officers The Jackson County Jail is accepting applications for full-time and part-time Jail Officers. Starting full-time pay is $15.10 per hour, and part-time is $14.15 per hour. Monitoring inmates, transporting to and from court, and searching inmates are among the duties required. Must have good computer skills, be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and have a strong willingness to learn. Applicants must be physically fit and be able to perform all functions of the job. Must possess a valid driver’s license, and have reliable transportation. Must be able to work any shift in a 24/7 operation. Must be able to complete all required training.
