An arrest has been made after a burglary investigation of a rural Jackson County home in April of 2015. Items collected at the scene were examined by the Indiana State Police Lab in Indianapolis which resulted in developing a suspect using DNA. The case was initially investigated by Sgt.Stan Darlage. Darlage was assisted by JCSD Detective CSI Bob Lucas.

After the investigation was completed the case was submitted to Jackson County Prosecutor Amy Travis. The prosecutor then requested a warrant earlier this month for the arrest of Jordan S Wolfe age 28 of rural Lawrence County In.

Wolfe was located and arrested in Monroe County on June 21st on the Jackson Circuit Court Warrant for Burglary, a level 4 felony, and Theft, a level 6 felony. He was in the Jackson County jail on a court ordered 96 hour hold, after which he posted a $20,000 surety bond on June 26, 2016.
