Crash Leaves Columbus Man Injured

Robert Fox, 30 of Columbus lost control of his 2008 Honda motorcycle after he failed to negotiate a curve in the 3700 block of West State Road 58 in Jackson County. Fox’s motorcycle landed on its side in the roadway and then slid approximately 50 yards in the grass. Fox was taken by Ambulance to the Hamilton Township Volunteer Fire Department and then by Stat Flight to St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

An initial investigation determined that speed may have been a factor in the crash.

Responding to the crash was Jackson County Deputies Rob Henley, Rick Meyer, Reserve Deputy Eric Browalski, Pershing Township Volunteer Fire Department, and Jackson County EMS.
